I don't see how the lgpl prevents anything.
Sonique has already shown interest and given us specs to write a plugin
for vorbis.
Winamp specs are already available.
So the two most popular mp3 based media players will support vorbis
relatively quickly.
Using resources from iCast we plan to encourage and help Microsoft and
RealNetworks adopt the technology. LGPL isn't not a problem :)
