[vorbis-dev] Vorbis license terms?

I believe the LGPL is a good balance between the ideal of free software
everywhere and the cruel hard reality of real world use. Unlike the
BSD-license (unless I grossly understand the BSD license), the LGPL will
keep libvorbis itself free. Unlike the GPL, the LGPL'd libvorbis will not
taint apps that link to it.

Besides, if my understanding is correct, BSD-licensed apps can link to LGPL
libraries with no problems.
