Excellent!  Thanks, Monty.

For those who want to get started hacking on the Mac stuff, the 
project files are from CodeWarrior Pro 5.3.  I think everything else 
is self-explanatory; there's a project that you can use to build 
either a debug or an optimized shared library, and projects for 
encode_example and decode_example which you can use to verify that 
everything works correctly.
