Our version is a fork, so vorbis cvs is more-or-less canonical. The
original was by Aaron Holzmann (aholtzma at engr.uvic.ca) as part of his AC-3
decoder. It's available here:

The libao headers say not to bother him about it. Stan, does that mean
he's not interested in receiving our changes? I know he hasn't had much
time to work on ac3dec the last few months.
