I'm reporting a problem with the video "A Digital Media Primer for
Geeks". I'm using Safari 5.0.2 (5533.18.5) on a PPC PowerMac G5 with
OS 10.5.8. I have the QT Xiph plugin 0.1.9 installed, as well as Perian.

This version of Safari identifies the video as OGG but when I go to
play the video, it lists the time as 59:59 and then plays only the
first 7 seconds and loops back to the start again in a endless loop
playback. It's impossible to move the play past the 7 second mark.
This is repeatable under new windows or tabs, or if the cache is
cleared, or Safari reset.

When I use Firefox 3.6.9 the video loads and the play time is 30:06
and it plays fine, except that it looks very different than the Safari
playback. The Safari playback makes the background black and some faux
lights change colors in the background around the edges of the
playback window. In Firefox there is no fancy black background or
lights, it simply shows the video in a window with the normal text of
the webpage displayed around it.

Here are a couple screenshots to show what I see in Safari & Firefox
for the same video. Notice that the dimensions of the video appear to
be different? I hope this helps,

Best luck!
