[Tremor] tremor debian/ubuntu packaging (and git development)

Hi Tremor folks--

There is some confusion in the debian/ubuntu world about the API that
libvorbisidec exports. You can read it here:

  http://bugs.debian.org/537710

Could someone from upstream (monty?) let me know what you think i (as a
debian maintainer) should be doing with this package?

there is also confusion about the version numbering, i think based on
the unusual information in the debian/changelog file stored in the
canonical SVN location:

  https://bugs.launchpad.net/debian/+source/libvorbisidec/+bug/470639

i'd be quite happy if someone with svn commit access wanted to update
the debian/ svn directory with the directory i'm using for the current
debian packages.

You can get a diff that should apply cleanly here (it also patches the
example files to work with tremor instead of the main vorbis encoder):

http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/libv/libvorbisidec/libvorbisidec_1.0.2+svn16259-2.diff.gz

This information is being tracked with git (and hooked to the xiph repo
via git-svn), and published at
git://lair.fifthhorseman.net/~dkg/libvorbisidec Are there other tremor
developers using git? if so, and you've published your repo, please let
me know. I'd be happy to collaborate.
