Very early encoders (beta 4 and earlier) used floor 0 instead of floor
1, so files generated by them may use more or less memory (and more or
less CPU), as they exercise a different code path.
Personally, I wouldn't be upset if an embedded player rejected files
generated by a beta encoder. Technically, floor 0 is still part of the
vorbis spec, but I'm not aware of any encoder ever using it in a
'stable' release.
