[Tremor] Reg: Packet Size

Hi
   From previous mails and discussions it is clear that an input buffer of size 8k would be practically sufficient. My question is.. Does the input buffer assumed here, suck in a packet or a page? In other words is this 8k practical-max size of a page or a packet? Please give an explanation with regards to the packet overflow into the next page as well.
