[tremor] Tremor Code

Hi,
 
I'm trying to compile the tremor code on windows for some initial
testing using Cygwin, before I upload it to a DSP.
 
I followed the instructions for compiling, and ran autogen.sh followed
by make.
 
However, when I attempt to compile the included example file using
"make ivorbisfile_example"
 
I get errors of the form
undefined reference to '_ov_open'
undefined reference to '_ov_comment'
undefined reference to '_ov_info'
 
etc.
 
I did a grep for these commands, and found them in the binary file
vorbisfile.o
 
Is there something that I'm missing or not including properly?
