you are correct, ffmpeg produces FLV very quickly and I have done a
visual diff sx theora dx flv and I have noted that flv has less frame
during camera motion but, globally, it's quite comparable with Theora
even more crisp; more FLV is produced in 30-40% less time than theora
using always ffmpeg. (internal theora codec)<br>

ffmpeg2theora instead uses more time to do the same.<br>
<br>
So two order of doubt about latest ffmpeg release<br>
1) why ffmpeg->FLV encoding is so quickly compared to ffmpeg->theora <br>
2) why ffmpeg->theora is quite quikcly compared to ffmpeg2theora from J.<br>
<br>
I think this is not a poor question as time encoding is more than 5-10% <br>
<br>
