[theora] wrong lenght of theora videos

hello.

i recently experienced another interesting phenomenon with some
theora files i had, i.e. that the lenght displayed in VLC and totem is
not correct, although the video plays ok.

(and while i am typing this i watch a video which tells me i watch
1:46:42 from a video with total lenght 1:25:17)

is this a bug in the players who misunderstand some parts of the file
or a bug in theora? if it is theora, is there a way around that problem?
