Hello everyone!

My name is Basil Mohamed Gohar, and I'm an avid free software user &
advocate.  I've been using Theora for years as I strongly believe
there is an urgent need for free-as-in-freedom multimedia codecs.  The
recent improvements in Thusnelda encoder have encouraged me to become
more actively involved, so I've joined both this as well as the
theora-dev list.

I primarily do PHP web application development, and while in my
specific line of work I don't utilize Theora much, I do use Theora
personally for my own multimedia, including videos made from DV, my
digital camera, or time-lapse sequences.

I primarily using the Fedora GNU/Linux operating system, so I'll be
coming from that angle in terms of questions and/or help.

I guess that's my introduction.  :)
