Nor do I, (1 x PC) Its just a matter of taking the time to find out for
myself so that I know and can
then answer questions as I see fit with my own knowledge rather than accept
someones word.

This is what Open Source is for. To give those that cant afford to buy
expensive corporate products
a chance and to develop what is a good idea into something better.

Its why Linus Torvaldt let Linux into the Open Source Community rather than
sell out to a corportae
who probably would have killed it so they could still be friends with
William Fenceopening.

Result Now william is talking about using Linus' software

should...[grin]

forcing a codec to do what you want is what its all about
that way feedback groups like this get more info on what is possible

I used the original DV

There was no difference at 352 x 288 between the Mpeg 1 and VP3 of course if
you want
to play your video back at full screen then you are going to get all sorts
artifacts no matter
what the original stream. The BitBlitter will do this as it passes the
stream through the windows
algorithm for image expansion.

Your more likely to find that Real is interested in VP5 the latest offering
of On2
and I suspect that Helix is a modified VP5
