Oh thats simple:
Because i cant assume that everybody who's browsing to my website is using 
FF4.

Currently i use a little JavaScript which checks if the browser supports 
HTML5 with OGG/Theora video like FF, Chrome or Opera does. If possible it 
will use the <video/> tag then. But many ppl are out there who use IE 
6/7/8/9, Safari, $whatever which don't support native theora playback. 
Blame M$ or Apple for that, not me ;-)
