Note that libtheora is BSD, so while they're required to reproduce our 
copyright, they're not actually required to publish source. Sounds like 
that's the major complaint anyway. How's that going? I do see a link to 
all the project websites on the above page. Is that new?

ffmpeg2theora is GPL though.
