Oh, Hell yes. The real API will be the one the Ogg framework exposes.
(The framework of which I speak is the upcoming, prepackaged,
universal, buzzword compliant generic Ogg mux/demux libs that give
seamless access to installed Ogg codecs)

Right now, almost. As time goes on, they will likely diverge.

Note that we're going to make no attempt at back compatability with
old versions until we hit at least beta.
