[theora-dev] Prob Stupid Questions

Is theora based on Floating Point or Integer. 

I haven't looked at it much, but would like to help make sure it runs on 
other architectures ok. (especially: StrongARM (Zaurus) and DEC Alphas)

Also as of now how efficient is the player compared to mpeg4?

Aside from constant rewrite (as theora changes), why would someone not want 
to write a plugin to test it?

Just new to theora, and wondering about things. I have compiled it on x86 and 
have been impressed with it so far. Though there are (of course) some rough 
spots (blended shading from one color to another is the only one I really 
noticed), and was wondering if I could help out with what I know best 
(porting to other archs, specifically those above)
