[theora-codecs] VFW Install

I would like to use the VP3 codec in an application I am developing.  I have
downloaded the Video for Windows Installer and tested everything.  I see
that the codec is also available for download, and would like to incorporate
the codec into my application setup.  The problem is that I need to know
what the Video for Windows Installer does.  Is it possible to get the source
for the installer, or perhaps a brief summary of how to install the codec
manually to a windows system?

 

Any insight will be greatly appreciated!
