please, somebody (Mauricio?) put this damn file out of its misery!  What needs to happen is the
asm code needs to be reformatted to compile properly with the new MSC++ processor pack.  Shouldn't
be too hard.

there were memory leaks.  Some of them were found and fixed in Theora, but the codecs still use
the old code.
