</span>AFAIK, libspeex.so and libspeexdsp.so have always been separate<br>
libraries, but their source code used to be shipped together in the<br>
same tarball. However, starting from 1.2rc2, the libraries are now<br>
developed in separate source trees, with separate releases.<br>
