I just got back from the Mac Developers Conference. I had a similar
problem ... only slightly different. My audio stream (using a different
speech codec) was coming in from USB and I wanted it to route over to the
internal speakers. Somebody suggested (and it worked) using Adobe flash
player. Of course you'd have to write a small ActionScript program ...
