Hello,<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I am working on a real-time app for embedded hardware. I have two questions about the variable bit-rate option:<br><br>1. Can one designate a maximum bit-rate with the VBR option?<br>2. Does VBR chunk the bit-rate up and down, 
i.e. what is the granularity/speed of the changes in the bit-rate and can that granularity be defined and/or defined on the fly?<br><br>Thanks so much for your help.<br>
