<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I'm planning to use the Speex codec in an Asterisk
(<A href="http://www.asterisk.org">www.asterisk.org</A>) setup.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>What I would like to do is to be able to set
the speex-bitrate used by Asterisk - As far as I know there is no way to do this
from Asterisk, and Asterisk therefore uses libspeex standard bitrate (15kbit
?!).</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Is it possible to lock (or change
default) libspeex (the encoding) to a specific bitrate (and possible
other settings aswell) by manipulating ex. speex_header.c (bitrate = -1 ?)
or/and other files??</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>By the way: Thanks for a cool codec</FONT></DIV>
