Hello,

what is the look ahead for?
and what does it do with your data?

Can anyone please explain to me how the look-ahead thing works?
i cant find information on this :(

what happens if i don't use it?

can you please help me?

PS: i thinks the codec is a great initiative, i have to make a project for
school, and we chose speex :)
We are developping a small app to just play some compressed files in our own
simple format using Speex ( because we lack time ;))
we also need to write some sort of paper about it, but i'm stuck with this
question... please help :) thanks!
