[Speex-dev] variable speed playback

perhaps some standard ways of doing it are around somewhere ? maybe in patents
 
is there a chat room for audio processing ?
 
1. divide the signal into bands...then process each band.
2. or look for silence and expand that
 
maybe some audio processing site discusses the techniques for this, if anyone
has seen such a site
