[paranoia] Data CDs

[GBTMUD Designer]

Is there a tool like paranoia that operates on data CDs? The department I 
work for is looking for a low/no cost tool to restore scratched data cds, 
and I was wondering if paranoia could somehow be adapted for this use, or 
whether it is to complicated to try.
