Dear Monty

I have reached an impasse trying to rip CDs with my Ricoh MP7080A.
cdparanoia can't read the drive but players can and cdrecord works with
it:

----------------------------------------------------
cdrecord -scanbus

csidev: '0,0,0'
scsibus: 0 target: 0 lun: 0
Linux sg driver version: 3.1.22
Cdrecord 1.10 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2001 Jörg Schilling
TOC Type: 1 = CD-ROM
Using libscg version 'schily-0.5'
scsibus0:
        0,0,0 0) 'RICOH ' 'CD-R/RW MP7080A ' '1.10' Removable CD-ROM
        0,1,0 1) *
        0,2,0 2) *
        0,3,0 3) *
        0,4,0 4) *
        0,5,0 5) *
        0,6,0 6) *
        0,7,0 7) *

----------------------------------------------------
cdparanoia -v -w -d /dev/cdrom 1

----------------------------------------

Discs burn ok. I found no evidence through Google of CDDA problems with
this drive. cdda2wav suffers similar problems.

Can you offer any advice please?

Thanks and kind regards,

Steve
