ok...
i acquired this program recenetly for X/KDE called Krabber.
its supposed to work as a sort of X windows/kde version of audiograbber, supporting ripping from cd (via cdparanoia) and conversion to mp3 (via blade).

at time of writing i am in windows (ugh) coz i need to use it fer stuff my linux cant do, so i cant get version number or anything, but the cdparanoia in use is my home-compiled 9.6-ish vesrion.

When Krabber starts up, nothing is shown on screen, but it runs cdparanoia -Q (presumably to get the TOC from the CD)
after which, i get a nice SEGFAULT at the command line.

I don't think this is a bug in the excellent cdparanoia, as it works fine as a standalone program, and produces excellent rips, but i'd be interested to know if anyone knows why there's a SEGFAULT occuring after cdparanoia is run.

thanx.
