[paranoia] kernel panic

I've already sent a bug report to monty at xiph.org.
I think I made a mistake sending it to the erroneus address, so I 
resend it to this address.

I've tried to find something helpfull in mailing lists, howtos, faq 
etc.etc. but I didn't find the solutions.

The problem is that I have a cd-rom matshita cr-505 (it is told to have 
cdda capability) and when I run cdparanoia III I get a kernel panic in 
module aha152x - not sync in swapper and my computer locks up.

Can you please help me?
Do you need other informations? And, if so, what kind?
