Hi,

I'm a student at the Engineering Faculty of the Katholieke Universiteit
Leuven. We're making a kind of mp3 player.
To handle the ripping part of this player, I thought of using CDparanoia
by system call. I also wanted to get some progress information, so I
used the --stderr-progress option and piped stderr to my programs
process.

The problem is that I don't get the line with the progress bar (with the
current sector) on stderr. I only get the [read] [verify] and [wrote]
information. The rest (the line starting with (== PROGRESS ...) ) only
appears on the the screen, but not in stderr.

Is there a way to get around this? Can I get progress information from
CDparanoia, and how?

thx,

Olivier Glorieux.
