The 2 second gap, calld pre-gap, is produced when the CD is written.
Burning a CD i TAO mode (Track At Once) produces these 'clicks'.
When using a DAO mode (Disc At Once) burner tool like 'cdrdao'
these pregaps can be of any size and you have full control over the
layout of the pregaps.
