Hi!

I just installed cdparanois. Only root can run it, however. If I try
running it as another user, here's what comes up.

-- /dev/cdrom exists but isn't accessible. By default,
cdparanoia stops searching for an accessible drive here.
Consider using -s to force a more complete autosense
of the machine.

More information about /dev/cdrom:
Checking /dev/cdrom for cdrom...
Testing /dev/cdrom for cooked ioctl() interface
/dev/scd0 is not a cooked ioctl CDROM.
        Testing /dev/cdrom for SCSI interface
No generic SCSI device found to match CDROM device /dev/scd0

My entire system is SCSI, RH 6.0... with an Adaptec 2940 U2W controller.

DO I have to setuid on my cdrom drive or something? its in 666 mode
right now.
Thanks in advance.

When your memory goes, forget it!
