This was a hack for their specific usage; I assume in their app, there
was no reason not to use a global.

The usefulness of the code sent earlier is illustrating an apparetly
proper way to fix up that particular variety of mixed cd.  FixupTOC is
mosty cargo-cult code from cdda2wav in any case, and the additional
data point is appreciated.

yes, I'll try to incorporate the intended fix in the next release.
