[paranoia-dev] simultaneous ripping

hello all,

i can't seem to rip from my two SCSI drives at the same time; whichever
process is started second just spins the throbber, making no progress until
the first is finished. it seems there's some resource the second one blocks
waiting for - i couldn't isolate it with lsof. could this be a hardware
issue?

any explanation or flame is welcome :)
