Did you try to contact the vendor of your mobile? While some (like Samsung)
most likely do not care about customers at all, others (like Huawei) at least
seem to consider the issues reported by users...

There's an app called "Logcat" that allows you to view the logs Android
creates (it might need rott access to get all the logs). Maybe you can find out
what's happening with large covers. Be warned however: Android creates log
messages "like crazy"...ö
