I agree that new release packages should be made, but I'd like to see positron 
fixed to play nice with Python 2.3 first. At the moment whenever I run it I 
get a whole bunch of:

/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/positron/db/new/__init__.py:26: 
DeprecationWarning: Non-ASCII character '\x8d' in 
file /usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/positron/db/new/failedhisi_zip.py on 
line 21, but no encoding declared; see

Should all the source files just be declared to be ascii?
