I am assuming it has to do with the "#@" temporal fragment specification 
in line 5, which might cause those weird characters

Is there any chance you can run the test manually and send me the result?

All you'd need to do is go into the tests subdirectory of the libcmml 
tree and run
..tools/cmml-validate -b error6.cmml
