Thank you for your reply.

I tested something like your setup and added a non SSL port. But I
never used it. Same result, the Mointpoint does not close.

    <port>8000</port>
    <ssl>1</ssl>
</listen-socket>
<listen-socket>
    <port>8080</port>
</listen-socket>

> Most encoders cannot handle ssl

I don't think sending data and the radio station's password without
encryption over the internet comes into question.
