generally that is the job of the source client. For all
modern/supported streaming formats the metadata is part of the actual
encoded data stream. So the encoder must include the information.

For legacy/unsupported that do not support metadata (that is MP3 and
AAC) require a workaround. However that is also in the domain of the
source client.

So it depends on which source client you are using. I fear I need to
refer you to the documentation on your source client. But feel free to
tell us wich one you are using.
