[Icecast] Reliable method to kick broadcaster

We're running live DJ shows who broadcast using butt to icecast running on linux

What we're concerned about is DJs failing to disconnect.  Does anyone here have a fool proof way to kick a broadcaster?  Is there something we could do with icecast itself or should we be looking at iptables drop / reject?
