Hi Marvin,
Thanks for the clarifications.
I didn't enter any address in the <listen-socket> section, just a port. The 
example came with the 127.0.0.1 commented out, so I removed it altogether.
The only other thing I can think of is the hostname in the main <icecast> 
section, but that is set to my domain address, not to localhost or any IP 
address, local or otherwise.
