[Icecast] a basic question about source streaming

Hi Simone,
Your iPh*ne would be a source client to Icecast. Relays are normally
used for different purposes.
Icecast can handle multiple connections on the same port (such as the
default 8000) because of how it handles mountpoints IIRC.
If you want stream fallbacks, with the <fallback-override> options set
correctly. See
http://icecast.org/docs/icecast-2.4.0/config-file.html#mountsettings for
more details on that.
