I have a question .Why broadcasting in AAC clicking M3U Media Player 
does not work . Icecast 2-3-2 unbutu 12.04 .
.I did streamtranscoderv3 aac hotfix . The signal works XSPF . I write 
about AAC .

You mean clicking on the link on the status page?
That is probably a software and or configuration problem on your client side.
>From an Icecast perspective it has nothing to do with the codec.

I will answer all your questions with one word: yes.

Perhaps the hardest part is configuring it, but only if you are a Windows
user, because all options are saved in a text file (as XML).

But don't worry, it is still very easy to use. Once you have it up and
running, you will forget about it!
