Please DON'T do such things. Parsing the html which is intended for human readable rendering is likely to get you into hot water! Icecast is using a very powerful XSLT engine that can produce easy to parse/use output in all possible formats. What sort of things would you like to monitor with Nagios regarding Icecast? Icecast has a very powerful XSLT engine in use that can provide easy to parse or ready to use data. One VERY VERY important thing is: do NOT under any circumstances try to parse the HTML status pages!
