Hi David ,

I'm sorry ro the long delay between my answer but I'm out of my country for
3 weeks.

Reading well your message I understand that all the way of icecast relay
need of a public ip for the master server , because the slave connects
itself to the master , and not hte master sends the stream to the slave.

So when you speak about :

" 3> The icecast servers cant push a stream to another server, you can
set up a stream translator to basically listen to the stream and to
source it out to a server. We have done this because allot of the
commercial available icecast hosting you cant set up as a slave and
can only source to it.
"

What translators are you talking about?

Something about netcat of linux systems?

Thansk a alot
