Hi,

I don't understand the question.  The dump file will dump a copy of your 
stream to a file.  As far as I know it has nothing whatever to do with 
performance, aside from the obvious fact that your server will have more 
work to do if it has to write streams to a file.

And if you have 1000 streams then 1000 dump files will consume a lot of 
disk space very quickly.
