I had some hardware trouble earlier in the year, so there was a pause, 
however there has been various updates to my branch work (moved to 
http://www.icecast.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk) and many of them have worked 
out well.

Over the last few weeks I've been filtering some of the updates and 
merged them into trunk so feel free to try the trunk code. Tarballs are 
available at http://people.xiph.org/~brendan/snapshots/icecast/
