Hi, yes the broadcasters are indeed connecting to 9000. I don't have any
other sources connecting. Most mysterious.

make sure they are using 9000 as their port (not 9001) in the shoutcast DSP 
(yes, this is a bit confusing, but the shoutcast DSP actually connects on 
9001 when you specify 9000 as the port in the DSP - dontcha just love that 
?).  Also, do you have any other sources connected ? The default config 
only allows 2 sources, so if you are connecting more, you would want to 
bump that up...
