[Icecast] automating playlist

[Engineering]

I have a client that is using icecast with ices, they want to automate
the playlist so that whenever they add a new song it is automatically
added to the playlist without having to restart ices to accept the
playlist.
 
I am new to icecast, is there an easy solution to this? Do they have to
restart ices whenever the playlist is modified?
