[icecast] Problems when stream-transcoding mono -> mono

Hi,

after Oddsock invested some work (because there was a bug resulting 
in streamTranscoder not working properly when source was an icecast2-
server) stream-transcoding from stereo to mono (or maybe even stereo 
to stereo, not tested) works.

But when transcoding from mono to mono I got problems. Anybody has an 
idea where this comes from and maybe got a solution?
